I was thinking a lot over the weekend about the news and about how the news becomes the news, and then I read Jay Rosen’s brilliant take on the Downing Street Memo coverage

LOL. The poor pathetic Bush haters are kissing up to the blogs right now because blogs are the only people who give a gnat's ass about their memo story.

Quit whining, you turds. Accept the fact that this story isn't the 'smoking gun' you thought it was. Everybody in America has heard about this limey's opinionated memo bashing Bush, and nobody except the kooks on the left fringe cares.

Those tens of millions of other people she's talking about are watching crap like Jerry Springer.

She admits that the Downing smear isn't popular among those who watch the news on TV every night, so she wants to reach out to the Jerry Springer crowd. IOW she's going down the food chain a few levels trying to find somebody who will listen to their Bush bashing.
