He's not the only one left but he is part of a rare breed .. Personally (and this is hard to say) I hope the neocons get so badly beaten in this election that they loose all influence in the Republican Party...
Any damage Kerry could do in 4 years could be fixed ... but the Damage the neocons will do down the road is terrible to imagine.

Ironically, The Daily Show has become the most cutting edge news program on television hands down. Even Ted Koppel has taken notice and claimed that the Daily Show can do things that 'respectable' news outlets can't. That is to cut through the talking points on both sides and use satire to show what a bunch of bullshit we're getting fed by the mainstream media. The mainstream media never challenges talking points, they merely parrot both sides (except for Fox which only parrots one side) so they can claim fairness.
IMHO, The Daily Show is by far the best program on television.
