“As I watch the political scene unfold, I realize there is more than one way to lynch someone,”...“I look at the picture of the New Yorker and to me that was subtle, political lynching. You can call it satire if you want.”
Myrlie Evers-Williams,NAACP leader and wife of slain civil rights leader Medgar Evers.
When will the MSM and we on the right realize that St. Obama is an utouchable and cannot be crtiicized or be the subject of satire!

Again, not an Obama supporter but I found the cover unnecessary, insulting, and in very poor taste. It just proved once again that the media is now a circus rather than a service.
I did not see that the Obama's had a huge reaction to it other than a few lines regarding their unhappiness with it. I'm not a supporter of his policies or ideals but I am impressed with the manner in which he handles these instances.
The GOP seems to be reacting more to the comments made by the special interest groups (who are not running for President) and wasting a lot of hot air discussing negative reactions that don't matter.
React, react, react. Stop reacting and start campaigning. Tell me why you belong in office and not why he doesn't. Sell your plan and it should / better be a good one.
Notice to McCain & Staff: Your campaign as of late looks more like a bunch of whiny, cantankerous (sp?) complainers than experienced politicians with a message to express. Knock this crap off, act proffesional, and save your whining when the cameras not on.

I agree completely. It makes no sense that the entire campaign is based on ridiculing Obama when there are important things to be said on policies. Anti talk would backfire McCain if they are not followed with some serious policy talk.
