Mentally ill Gun Owners

It seems almost every time I watch American TV news there a story about a mentally ill man going berserk with a gun.

What's the deal? Are mentally ill people allowed to own guns? Is the check to stop them just very sloppy?

No they are not, niether are criminal. They do not buy them from legit means, either they buy them from some guy in the street or the steal them. It is not civilians with guns that is the problem it is the criminals that illegally get them that is.

In texas you can carry a gun. and yes it does saves lives.

DAMNED CIVILIANS WITH GUNS

This one unfolded in Tyler, Texas yesterday. David Hernandez Arroyo was in the middle of a bitter child support dispute. As his ex-wife arrived at the courthouse yesterday Arroyo was waiting with an AK-47. He killed her with is first shots and then aimed for and shot his son. At that point Mark Wilson happened on the scene. Mark Wilson is a civilian. He wasn't a law enforcement officer. Mark Wilson did, however, have a gun on him. Wilson started firing at Arroyo as Arroyo was trying to finish his son off. Wilson was killed in the exchange. Another civilian with a gun started firing at Arroyo, who ran to his pickup and fled. Arroyo was cornered by police a short time later and killed.

Arroyo's son is alive today. He's alive because a civilian with a gun intervened. This is just one of the instances yesterday where a civilian with a gun saved either his life or someone else's. You won't see most of these stories on the air. The Tyler story will probably make it to the news because it is too sensational to be ignored. Watch for the role of the civilian to be minimized.

Thanks to the NRA and it's gun manufacturer handlers the US is flooded with guns that cost less than a pair of running shoes and we are supposed to act surprised that they find their way into the hands of 'criminals'?

Some of them lose their minds after they legally purchase firearms, however I know for a fact when I was a teenager (15 yrs ago) I could purchase a fully automatic AK47 off the street for about 75 bucks.

Is the Not that I know of, actually it can be troublesome depending on which city you live in for a legitimate sportsman to purchase one. When I purchased my first pistols I was only required to bring a 3 letters which define my character from anyone other than family members, lol. So if you are in a street gang, you can have your fellow gangsters write letters to the State validating your mental capacity. The laws have changed since then in my area and it is much harder to own a pistol legally.

According to the Jewish controlled Yank media, anybody who uses a gun in anger (except Bush's and Sharon's butchers, of course) is 'mentally ill'.

It does not mean that they necessarily are, of course.

So the woman and passer-by were killed with a gun, the son was wounded with a gun, and later on the perp was cornered and killed with guns.

That's a second amendment success story? I truly cannot fathom the world you live in.
