WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, trying to recover from a brass-knuckles campaign against his character, is attempting to steer the election to a referendum on President Bush's leadership.

Kerry has less than seven weeks to take over the lead in the presidential race. Democrats hope a major shift will come from the debates, but his strategy in the meantime is based less on building himself up than on tearing down the president.

Bush has ruined everything he's touched - and done it on purpose.

You blind fool...that is Bush's strategy, to tear down Kerry instead of trumpeting his own successes or seeking forgiveness for his own failures. You keep ascribing Bush's failings to Kerry. I suppose it make you feel better to lie to yourself and us rather than acknowledge your blind spot about the simple son.

Come on CB, EVEN YOU CB must realize and acknowledge that bush has spent $100Million dollars and pretty much every single campaign appearance attacking kerry. ATTACKING KERRY IS THE LINCHPIN OF THE bush CAMPAIGN.
