Al-Qaeda Will Take Advantage Of Assault Weapons Ban Expiration

WASHINGTON D.C.(Capitol Press) - According to a Washington D.C. anti-gun think tank, Al-Qaeda will take advantage of the expiration of the Assault Weapons Ban to stage terror attacks on schools, shopping malls and churches similar to the recent school siege in Russia.

Living Safely Without Guns, an organization dedicated to removing the 2nd Amendment from the U.S. Constitution, issued a warning about the possibility of Al-Qaeda sleeper agents legally acquiring assault weapons from gun stores and using them to take hundreds or even thousands of people hostage in a new wave of terror attacks against the United States.

'As we saw in Russia, it only takes a handful of diehard Al-Qaeda fanatics with guns to murder hundreds of children' said Sandy Weitzman, a spokesperson for Living Safely Without Guns. 'We have to get rid of the 2nd Amendment in order to protect Americans from the next 9/11' Weitzman said.

Since the beginning of the Russian school siege, U.S. Homeland Security officials have been looking into the possibility of outlawing gun ownership in the event of a 'Red Alert' during a terrorist strike on America.

Homeland Security contingency plans call for a house to house confiscation of firearms in America by the U.S. Military and the use of Special Forces to confiscate firearms from 2nd Amendment supporters who refuse to give up their guns.

In order to avoid a conflict with U.S. law, Posse Comitatus, an 1878 law designed to prevent the U.S. Military from being used for law enforcement purposes, would be recinded during a 'Red Alert'. Any individual caught possessing a gun during a 'Red Alert' will be considered a possible Al-Qaeda sympathizer and imprisoned in a detention center.

'We have to protect our children from Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda. The only sure way to do that is to permanently get rid of guns' Weitzman said.
